Today saw the start of our stills photography for the new collections! Hurrah! Things are finally coming together after months of planning, designing and knitting behind the scenes. To say it has been fraught is probably an understatement, but every cloud as they say has a silver lining. This one was a steep learning curve in how to take good stills shots, how to retouch images using photoshop and how to get husbands and children to work with you!

We actually got out in the garden on Friday with two fresh mackerel from our local fish monger on the fire (lemon juice, pepper, mayo and a slice of rye bread) with three children happy to be playing outside wrapped up in some of next season’s new styles.

I now understand what the most valuable commodity is in Life... TIME!

If those clever scientists could only bottle it, freeze it, reverse it or stop it, then I for one, would pay royally for a tiny bit more of it! As we hurtle out of February like a blazing meteor, half term whizzing by in the blink of an eye, I have the uncomfortable sensation of my Self Conscience nagging me at the back of my already overcrowded mind, reminding me about my lofty ambition to try to achieve some Work/Life 'Balance' in 2013! So did I aim too high? Or as as a good friend quipped, should I just have set out to survive the year, muddling through as best I can and making it up as I go along?
